Julie is a friend from school, and studies dentistry at Glasgow Uni. Just like me, she is totally bonkers about cars. Julie can tell you the model, year and option pack on any BMW 3 series from a range of 800 yards. She is a supervisor at the Grapevine restaurant in Bothwell, and whilst saving for her BMW 330Ci, she has just got herself a brand new Peugeot 206 LX. It's silver, and I'm dead jealous!!!
After a bit of work, this is how i envisage Julie's 206 to look -- once I've convinced her to spend all her hard earned money on body kits, bigger alloys, alloy fuel cap, tints, etc etc etc
(Sorry Jules...you've no idea how long i spent trying to find an embarrassing photo of ya! :-P)

OK, there is kind of a story to this. Y'see, I used to know Lorna
from school...and haven't spoken to her for 6 years (despite her living
about 10 minutes up the road from me). Then about 6 months ago, she
tracked me down on the web and we've been emailing each other ever
since. Even spookier, she started work as an accountant recently,
and works in the office 2 buildings along the road from my office
and we probably get the same train to work in the mornings...AND even
scarier, she was recently working in my Uni. Despite all these coincidences
- we seem destined to never meet - and despite plenty of "near-misses",
we have never met in person all this time! No, seriously, despite her describing herself as a boring accountant in a pinstripe, she sounds absolutely MAD, and it's cool having her as a mate again. What is really scary though, is that she can remember a *lot* about me from school...too much, in fact...and if she ever met any of my Uni pals, could trash my new image in an instant! :-P She remembers far too many Nicola stories for my liking, ha ha! :-)
Update:-She has finally tracked me down, and this time, there's no escaping!! One day, she just turned up in my office - out of the blue - and she's probably been trying to get rid of me ever since!! :-) She has gone from not seeing me at all since we were 16, to full-blown Cozy overdose, after we saw each other several times in the one week! I'm still in shock after she just turned up in my room on the Monday - quite probably the last thing I was expecting to happen that day! (A good shock, of course!) , and despite being really nervous about meeting her, she was really nice and really easy to get on with!

Don't know what it was about me and Louise, but the same crap used to always happen to us....Mr Chapman tutorials in second year, final year oral exam, & late nights working on projects in R336 (only difference was at 8pm, she was just about to leave, whereas I'd just arrived there - to work all night).
Louise has just bought a new car, and is an utter MENACE on the roads. We are collectively saving up to get a Global Positioning System receiver fitted, so I don't see her about on the M8 in the middle of the night - driving for miles in the wrong direction :) Louise works as a Hardware Design Consultant at the Cadence Design Foundry in Livingston.
