Get Cozy This Autumn

The Autumn weather is here and that can only mean one thing. It’s time for evenings spent snuggled under a blanket and walking through fallen leaves with a hot chocolate in your hand.

Here at Cozy, we have put our heads together to think of our top 5 things to do this autumn.

1. Film Nights

On a cold, rainy evening, there really is nothing better than curling up under a blanket and watching a film. Whether you decide to have a marathon of your old favourites, or choose to watch a new release, Cozy has everything you need to make it the ultimate comfort experience. From mood lighting to blankets and we’ve got you covered.

2. Farmers Markets

This time of year, farmers markets are a fantastic place to buy seasonal produce. Whether you are looking for pumpkins to add to your autumn decor or something delicious to try for the first time, the array of locally produced items will leave you spoilt for choice. Don’t forget to take your hat and scarf if the weather is chilly.

3. Jump in a Pile of Leaves

Jumping in crunchy leaves is fun, no matter how old you are or how sensible you would normally be. There is something incredibly releasing about hearing the sound of fallen leaves underfoot. The best part? It’s free! Put on your wellies and your coat and forget about being an adult for a little while.

4. Scenic Walks in the Woods

Whether you are out walking the dog or spending time with family, the woods are a fantastic place to walk during the autumn months. Amateur photographers often love practicing in the woods as the lighting and seasonal colours can lead to capturing beautiful images. The changing colours mean that it looks different from one day to the next, while foraging for conkers and chestnuts make it a fantastic place for children to explore. Take a hot drink along with you to help keep your hands warm.

5. Comfort Food by the Fire

The weather in autumn is often unpredictable, with howling winds and driving rain stopping you from being able to enjoy time outdoors. But, bad weather can always be made better with good food and a cosy room. If you are lucky enough to have a fireplace in your home, why not enjoy your favourite comfort foods while enjoying the light and warmth from the fire? Using some of our beautiful dinnerware and lighting, you can create a cosy evening which will help you to forget the outside world.
